VALUES AND ETHICS OF KNOWLEDGE IN THE NETWORK SOCIETY: PHILOSOPHICAL GUIDELINES FOR IT EDUCATION IN UKRAINE

Abstract

The optimal formation of IT education in Ukraine can be compared to a kind of text that contains many contexts and subtexts that need to be not only taken into account, but also to ensure their interaction on holistic and synergistic principles. The factor of the network society, the ethics of knowledge, and the hierarchy of value priorities are important here, which, in turn, are subject to significant socio­cultural influence and socio­political regulation. To effectively operate with the subject area in the form of such a systemic object, we need a tool of philosophical reflection, critical thinking, communicative culture, media literacy, comparative analysis and a transparent discussion environment organized on the principles of deliberative democracy. There are no and cannot be absolute truths here, but there is only room for polemics and argumentative persuasiveness, as well as the need to increase the level and quality of thinking in order to both adequately understand the hierarchy of problematic challenges and dangers of the modern era and formulate convincing responses to existing threats.
