МУЛЬТИКУЛЬТУРНА/ МІЖКУЛЬТУРНА ОСВІТА: ЗАРУБІЖНИЙ ДОСВІД ТА ПЕРСПЕКТИВИ ДЛЯ УКРАЇНИ

У статті розглядається низка питань, пов’язаних із таким феноменом, як «мультикультурна/міжкультурна освіта»: відтворюються засади її зародження, її динаміки та її перспектив. Увага концентрується на досвідові США, деяких європейських країн, де коріняться початки її історії й формуються новітні тренди її розвитку. Автор, аналізуючи стан цього виду освіти, стверджує, що вона є об’єктивною суспільною необхідністю у країнах з поліетнічним складом населення і що вона сприяє взаємному сприйняттю «етнокультурної інакшості», забезпеченню рівності доступові до знань і творенню атмосфери безконфліктної міжетнічної взаємодії й соціальної когезії (згуртованості). Виокремлюються базові принципи побудови мультикультурної/міжкультурної освіти, з’ясовується важливість включення її елементів до навчальних планів закладів освіти, наголошується на її мобілізаторській ролі у вибудовуванні системи міжетнічної толерантності на базі інформації і знань про історію і культуру різноманітних спільнот, які проживають і взаємодіють у межах одного і того ж етнополітичного організму. Автор вважає, що актуальність мультикультурної/міжкультурної освіти в українському соціальному просторі зумовлюється передусім тим, що Україна є ктором світових процесів, зокрема у сфері етнонаціонального розвитку, а динаміка етнонаціональної структури її населення спонукає до інтенсивного її запровадження.
