PRACTICAL IMPLEMENTATION OF EU VALUES FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION

The article describes the important role of the European integration of Ukrainian Higher Education System development. It’s value-oriented, theoretical and methodological foundations are shown. The article stresses the importance of the international cooperation in the researches, dissemination and implementation of EU values in the educational and social dimensions. The social role of education in the development of intercultural competence is also reflected, its factors and possible development tools are identified. The study is a summary of previous studies of social cohesion, trust and the level of intercultural communication in university communities. The process of incorporating European values into higher education can be based on the link between social cohesion and trust in others, respectively, between the level of social cohesion and the level of intercultural communication, which is a manifestation of the value of trust, respect for diversity and inclusion. The methodology of practical implementation of various projects, in particular, Jean Monnet projects, which are implemented in the NPDU.
