EU VALUES OF INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION IN THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY

The article describes the important role of intercultural communication, its’ value-based foundations, theoretical and methodological principlethes. It has been conceptualized the intercultural communicatio as a complex social phenomenon and its impact on society development. The social role of education in the development of intercultural communication and possible tools are shown as well. Nowadays there is an important task of intercultural communication development in the educational space. The special task is practical implementation of EU values of diversity and inclusion in the social communication with the various vulnerable groups. The complex political and socio-economic situation in Ukraine requires an effective social dialogue, in particular, intercultural dialogue to to unite our society, taking in consideration diversity and inclusion focuses of social interactions. The role of education is quite important on this matter. So, It is needed more detailed and proper researches to investigate the present level of intercultural communication in the educational dimension and to identify the key impact factors of its development. The conducted research is the follow up of the previous cognitive researches of social cohesion model (apopted Model of the Social Cohesion Radar) and trust at the university community level. The study is based on the оriginal primary data of the authors’ questionnaire.
