DRUM CIRCLE – PRACTICES FOR UNITING THE EDUCATIONAL COMMUNITY

The article emphasizes one of the main European values – the value of peace and its importance for Ukrainian society. There is information about the educational project "Creators of Concord: creative methods of conflicts transformation", which is being implemented in Dnipro, Ukraine. The drum circle method is described as one of the effective creative methods for transformation of conflicts and uniting groups. The drum circle is influencing the emotional and sensual spheres of a person. Due to this effect, the person increases vitality, decreases the level of aggression, improves mood, reduces fatigue and stress, increases concentration. The drum circle is also an effective method of teaming up and transforming conflicts by working with group dynamics. There is some results of the project implementation for the first year of activity.
