The article clarifies the concept of pedagogical regularity, which is similar to the pedagogical law, plays a key role in reforming the primary school. It is of great importance that pedagogical regularities and the law are correlated, as partial and general. They have common elements: they establish essential, true and repeated relationshi ps between the main components of the educational process. However, pedagogical regularities are interconnecting, as a rule, two components and operate in specific conditions. On the basis of such approaches, the scientific works of V. O. Sukhomlynskii are studied in order to find pedagogical regularities inherent in the primary school. In ou r opinion, the use of pedagogical regularities, which were looked into by V.O. Sukhomlynskii, in the concept of new Ukrainian school will significantly improve the efficiency of the educational process in it.
