The formation and development of the cognitive interest of higher education students is considered one of the current topics of today’s pedagogical science and practice. The quality of education as an activity depends on the result of education, development and upbringing of students, the implementation of the principle of activity in education is of certain importance, since education and development have an activity nature. One of the important disadvantages of reducing the cognitive interest of students remains formalism, which manifests itself in the separation of learned abstract statements from the ability to use them in practice. Conditions and means of activation of future specialists, verified by practice, are needed to solve the problem of increasing the efficiency of the educational process. Socio-cultural conditions determine the development of educational technologies, most often their updating takes place with the help of the integration of ideas from several technologies and the use of network resources of the Internet, technical means of learning, including electronic gadgets, which promotes high personal involvement in learning, interactive interaction of participants in the educational process, quick access to information and increasing their cognitive motivation.
