MODERN METODS OF THE FORMATION OF A FOREIGN LANGUAGE PROFESSIONALLY ORIENTED COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE WITH THE PROSPECTIVE ENGINEERS

Abstract

The article deals with the formation of a foreign language professionally oriented communicative competence with the students of non-language establishments of higher education through the modern methods and technologies. It analyzes the experience of their use for the formation of a foreign language professionally oriented communicative competence with the prospective specialists. The article covers the role of modern methods and technologies in the process of learning and teaching a foreign language for professional purpose. Mordern methods and technolgies promote the increasing of motivation to learn a foreign language, active mutual activity of a teacher and students, individualisation and effectiveness of learning process, in particular, the formation of a foreign language professionally oriented communicative competence with the prospective specialists of a technical establishment of higher education. It has been considered a number of modern methods which refer to the formation of a communicative competence. It defines a number of directions how to improve the quality of education on the basis of competence approach. The most effective methods have been analyzed, in particular, communicative approach, interactive case-study method, project-based method. The above mentioned allows to imlement them in the formation of a foreign language professionally oriented competence with the prospective engineers.
