SEARCHING FOR AN OWL OF MINERVA: EVALUATION OF THE QUALITY OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS IN PHILOSOPHY IN THE LEADING INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY RANKINGS

The paper is devoted to the analyses of evaluation of educational programs in philosophy in leading Ukrainian university rankings. We need to mention that among the three leading international university rankings - Shanghai Ranking, QS World University Rankingsand THE World University Rankings - only in QS rankings there is a special area ranking in philosophy. In Shanghai Ranking this area is absent and in THE rankings it is only a part of wider area of arts and humanities. Also we analyzed the structure of philosophical disciplines in the best universities in this area according to the recent results of QS World University Rankings in the area of philosophy. The paper was published as part of a research project "Convergence of economic and educational transformations in the digital society: modeling the impact on regional and national security"(No. 0121U109553).
