Abstract

This article aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of knowledge management and risk management, exploring their definitions, core concepts, tools, advantages, and disadvantages. It is noted that the complexity and uncertainty of the external environment directly necessitate the improvement of internal management capabilities. It has been established that knowledge management provides higher education institutions with the flexibility needed for adaptation and innovation, effectively utilizing available information and experience. At the same time, risk management ensures stability and predictability, allowing higher education institutions not only to identify and minimize threats but also to strategically leverage emerging opportunities. It has been proven that the central objective of this work is to elucidate the synergetic relationship between knowledge management and risk management and their profound impact on decision-making quality. It is concluded that the integration of knowledge management and risk management becomes a powerful mechanism for building organizational resilience and adaptability, which is vital for development and prosperity in dynamic markets.
